"It Is Not Good For Man To Be Alone"

The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him."Genesis 2:18

It is true, what a friend we have in JESUS, He is our greatest friend. However, GOD has given us friends on earth, so we can have the ability to identity with one another and for companionship to mankind -- and usually people that say don't need friends are the most loneliest people in the world. Time and time again in the scriptures we see the bond that was formed in the lives of GOD's people: Job had Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar <<Job 2:11>>, Elijah had Elisha <<2 Kings 2:2>>, David had Jonathan <<1 Samuel 18:1-3>>, Ruth had Naomi <<Ruth 1:16-17>> [*yes, woman you can be friends with other woman, this cancels the doctrine of "I only get along with men"], and Adam had Eve <<Gen. 2:23>>.

Even Jesus Himself calls us friend <<John 15:12-15>>, because like I always say, "GOD is into relationships" that is why JESUS came to reconcile us back to GOD, that we may be called the family of GOD. Don't get me wrong, never should we look at friendship as the world does, it's not like Facebook. You cannot just [+Add Friend] 's to our lives, as well, allowing people in our lives puts our feelings on the line of being disappointed and getting hurt, which happens even in healthy relationships. But with prayer, the LORD can send us that one or two special *righteous* friends, that can impart into our lives things that will not only enhance our lives <<Proverbs 27:17>> but, that is also pleasing unto the LORD.

A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. Proverbs 18:24
