There’s no need to add to it!

Yesterday morning while on my way driving my son to school, he begins to explain to me that his teacher always says to him, he is the most quiet. I told him, I like to add something to his statement. He replies, "There's no need to add to it." In others words, what he said was enough. So it is with the word of God, no need to add to it; no need to take anything away. It has enough power to stand on it's own.

As I close Isaiah 55 says it best, how we can always confide in God’s word:

…so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 ESV)
